A look inside a current excavation
The excavation teams from Augst (BL) and Kaiseraugst (AG) will give an insight into their work to the interested public.
New construction projects always lead to archaeological rescue excavations. The excavation teams of Augst (BL) and Kaiseraugst (AG) give interested members of the public an insight into their work and offer free guided tours of the excavations.
This year, the excavation team from Augst is working on the edge of the upper town of Augusta Raurica, in a residential area with a view of several temple complexes and an amphitheatre nearby.

The excavation can only be entered with closed shoes. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
